At First Methodist Charlotte, we believe that God's family includes people of all races, ethnicities, national origins, gender identities, sexual orientations, social and economic statuses, mental and physical abilities, and those with and without homes.

Jesus said, "The last shall be first, and the first shall be last." In other words, no one is more important than another. Everyone deserves the same treatment and opportunity. To that end, we work for LGBTQ+ equality, racial healing and reconciliation, and adequate food and housing for the poor and the refugee.
